To best understand the history of bitcoin and blockchain, we need to hear from bitcoin & blockchain historians who were present during the time of Satoshi Nakamoto, or not long after he departed.

People who discovered and used bitcoin before 2013 understand it fundamentally differently from those who entered during later speculative cycles and rarely use it for transactions.

Early bitcoin users (2009–2016) understood bitcoin primarily as a social and monetary revolution, while newer users mostly understand it as a financial asset.
